Join Ali Pickard for a deep dive into her exhibition, Wandering Wombs & Wallfish. This body of work is the result of many thousands of hours of stitching since 2022. It is an invitation to look at modern society through a historical lens and ask who tells the stories, and what gets to be called history. Her work is imbued with a sense of loss, change, extinction and reinvention, and through this a seam of humanity's stubbornness runs; a questioning of what we are unable to change.
