In this relaxed, beginner-friendly class, you'll learn how to transform a simple wire bowl into a beautiful, personalised piece of homeware using colourful fabric strips and an accessible basketry technique called twining. Guided step by step, you'll wrap and weave recycled fabrics, such as old clothes, selvedge strips, or rags, around a wire frame, building structure while creating eye-catching patterns and textures. Twining is a rhythmic, meditative process that's easy to pick up, making it perfect for those new to crafting or looking to try something different. Along the way, you'll explore colour combinations, pattern-making, and ways to give new life to materials that might otherwise go to waste. By the end of the session, you'll have a unique, handmade bowl to take home - something both practical and decorative. All materials and full instructions will be provided in your workshop kit
