For new or proficient sewists, who would like to learn how to construct a pattern for a six panel skirt using their own measurements for a perfect fit. The same printable for constructing this skirt can be used to make an eight, ten or twelve panel skirt. This pattern can be advanced to construct a gored (flared) skirt, mermaid or godet skirt. In this workshop you will learn how to take body measurements accurately required for making a skirt, make a pattern for a six-panel skirt to your own measurement. You will use a half size block learn how to adapt it to a gored and godet skirt All materials and full instructions will be provided in your workshop kit This is an early morning workshop which will finish as the show opens for the day.
