Join Caroline to hand-embroider Japanese-inspired temari balls. Each ball measures approximately 45mm in diameter and you will embellish them with pretty embroidery threads. You'll explore embroidery on light-weight thread-wrapped balls. This is a sustainable project, which allows use of materials from previous projects with many options of alternative materials. You will choose from a selection of prepared balls and use embroidery thread from a selection of colours to form a design based on a traditional pattern but with a modern twist. Hear some of Caroline's stories from living in Japan and learning from skilled craftspeople. Give hand-stitching a go in a relaxed environment. All materials and full instructions will be provided in your workshop kit
