Ever wondered how to make a book out of fabric? In this workshop textile artist Kim Edith will teach you three simple methods for binding fabric books and talk about the differences and uses for each method. You will create 3 small books to try out the techniques and then discuss how to fill them with your own designs after the workshop. You will learn three fabric book binding techniques (Chicago screws, Japanese stab binding and pamphlet stitch) and receive instructions so you will understand how to make further books at home. There will also be a chance to create some titles and decorations for your trial books. All materials and full instructions will be provided in your workshop kit
