Join the RSN to explore two fascinating stitches: Whipped and Woven Wheels. Whipped wheel, also known as "Spider's" wheel, can be worked over an odd or even number of spokes and produces quite a raised stitch that adds an interesting ribbed texture. Woven wheels feature in Elizabethan embroidery and are typically stitched in metal thread. Our tutors will demonstrate these stitches in different sizes and will give you time to create your own examples with a variety of coloured threads. The tutors will also show examples of how your stitches can be turned into brooches and keyrings. All materials and full instructions will be provided in your workshop kit
