Learn the art of Ribbonwork Embroidery with this class led by embroidery artist Katherine Savage. If you've tried embroidery before, ribbon embroidery is a natural next step. It builds up quickly and creates magical textures. It really is a joy to get into. In the class you'll be shown how to set up your hoop and the tools you need to create beautifully textured designs. You will then learn some amazing stitches to get you started including straight stitch, Inverted stab stitch and French knots. You will also get plenty of Kat's top embroidery tips built up over 10 years of teaching and 30 years of stitching. All materials and full instructions will be provided in your workshop kit This is an early morning workshop which will finish as the show opens for the day. There is a รบ1 supplement for materials payable in cash on the day to the tutor.
